How do I organise my social media posts?

The time has come where you’ve finally taken the plunge and gotten to grips with your social media channels, which one’s you’re going to use and how you’re going to work that content, but then the realistion hits…how do I manage it all?

At first, the thought of organising,  managing and keeping track of a range of content for each channel  can seem quite intense and confusing, but it doesn’t have to be a stress induced tasks.

Creating a social media calendar is just the thing you need when it comes to this exact scenario.

What is a social media calendar?

A social media calendar is just like any other calendar, in the sense that it helps you keep track of elements of work or tasks that require planning.

When it comes to applying this to digital platforms, a social media calendar is a simple tool that helps you create, organise, track and manage content for multiple social media platforms over a set period.

By using a calendar, you can plan and tweak your content so that it falls in line with particular rules that each separate channels use.

For example; posts lengths in each platform are different, so content needs to changed to ensure it does not exceed the character length for specific platforms.

In addition to this, your calendar can also be used by your team and clients (if you manage their social media channels) so they can view and sign off on the content created for their channels.

Overall, it’s a great way of keeping everything in check, which is why I’ve created a social media content calendar template for you to download and start using.
