Choosing the best template for your Facebook Page

When it comes to creating a Facebook Page, one of the best things you can do is familiarise yourself with the tools available to help you enhance your Page and charity overall.
Not only will this give you the foresight needed to plan how you will use your Page, it will also provide you with the ability to think about the bigger picture when it comes to changing tack in future.
After all, failing to prepare is preparing to fail.
To help you with this here’s created a rundown of the available templates available. As a charity, I would suggest that you go with the non-profit template; however, there may be other reasons for you to select a different template entirely.
In addition to this, you can download a Facebook Templates Tabs chart to cross-reference each template against the other and decide which one is right for you.

What is a Facebook Page and how can it benefit my charity?

A Facebook Page is a free profile that helps you showcase your organisation to the public.

Potential donors and service users can find your page to learn more about your charity and interact with your page.

Using status updates, you can connect with customers and update them on your organisation’s progress such as your current services, donation drives, news and information.

You can also post photos and videos to visually engage potential donors and service users and increase the likelihood of them returning to your page.

This will help to increase your exposure online and enhancing the possibilities of referrals to your page amongst their Facebook network.
